Formerly the Ringwood Division, a move to a brand new purpose built facility in Bayswater, 26km east of Melbourne, during late 2004 established a new era for the metal enclosures manufacturer. Employing 70 staff and occupying 4800sq metres of floor space, the Bayswater Division manufactures data cabinets, racks and enclosures for the Clipsal Datacomms and Techrack brand names. The operation also produces domestic meter boxes, electrical distribution boards and metal enclosures for the C-Bus home and building automation products.
Now with improved levels of flexibility and greater production capacity, the Bayswater operation is able to provide greater operating efficiency and ultimately lower production costs and place the Clipsal brand in a better position to compete in an ultra competitive market.
