As you’re aware, the Slimline & Eclipse ranges are two examples of the many product ranges unique to Clipsal. These ranges have now been enhanced to include a new and distinctive colour called: "Chrome Shadow".
Chrome Shadow is more than just a colour, for the first time it offers the marketplace a "full metal look" for socket outlets and switch mechanisms. In the past this look was generally unavailable, but with new technologies this look can be effectively achieved and is now readily available.
Not only does this metallic range look impressive, the problem of hiding fingerprints on metal plate products has now been diminished with Chrome Shadow providing a near 100% solution.
The Chrome Shadow range will be available in the Slimline & Eclipse core product range as well as the top selling 30 series switch mechanisms. Chrome Shadow products will be easily identified by the colour suffix of ,3S.
For example: to order a Slimline twin switched socket outlet SC2025 in Chrome Shadow, simply add the colour code of 3S, eg SC2025,3S.
To order Chrome Shadow with a non Chrome Shadow Grid, simply order the Chrome Shadow cover of your choice and order the other Slimline product with your preferred colour separately.
For example: a single vertical switch with Chrome Shadow cover and Black base would be ordered as SC2031C,3S and SC2031VA,BK.
