There are more than 900 employees in Australia who have been with Clipsal for more than 10 years, and our 25-year club boasts 204 members. It’s a fitting testament to our organisational culture that we’re incredibly proud of.
Many of Clipsal’s employees started as apprentices or in entry-level positions, seizing chances to work their way up throughout the company’s vast and diverse operations. Clipsal Australia has always placed a strong emphasis on internal training.

Each year, the company interviews many candidates to fill apprenticeship positions encompassing a broad range of disciplines on site, including polymer, mechanical, electrical and electronic engineering. Clipsal Australia is among the state’s largest employer of apprentices on site. The company also sponsors the electrical industry’s most prestigious award for apprentices, the Clipsal NECA Electrical Apprentice of the Year award.
The company also provides an internal apprenticeship award. This comprises a certificate and cash prize for the successful candidate. Ideally, students should inquire about apprenticeship positions with Clipsal Australia when completing Year 11 or matriculation.
